AusPATH Conference Scholarships – APPLICATIONS CLOSED
Up to 8 x $1000 Interstate Travel Scholarships will be available and for and early career researchers living more than 100kms from the Perth CBD to facilitate attendance at the AusPATH Conference in Perth 24 – 26 October 2019.
Up to 4 x $500 Local Scholarships will be available for students and early career researchers living in Perth or the surrounding region to facilitate attendance at the AusPATH conference in Perth 24 – 26 October 2019.
Scholarships will be awarded in relation to an abstract submitted for either a research presentation or a presentation regarding a project undertaken with a trans, gender diverse or non-binary community focus. Scholarships will be awarded based on the abstract submitted, explanation of scholarship benefit to career goals and accompanying CV.

Applications will not be considered after this deadline.
The successful applicants will be advised by close of business on Friday 12 July 2019.
- Undergraduate, post graduate student or an early career researcher up to 3 years post completion of PhD, in 2018 and/or 2019.
- Research topic or community-based project submitted aligns with AusPATH’s aim to promote the health, rights and wellbeing of trans, gender diverse or non-binary people
- The award is to be used for bona fide travel requirements and accommodation
- Applicants who are funded to attend the conference by their departments/employers (other than top‐up funding) are ineligible to apply
Nominees are required to attend the 2019 AusPATH Conference in Perth from 24 – 26 October 2019 and to be able to present their work during this time.
