The AusPATH Conference will offer opportunities for professional development and networking for a multidisciplinary audience, bringing together researchers, primary healthcare providers, community, specialist clinicians, general practitioners, policy experts, academics and mental health practitioners.

Conference Objectives

Bring together over 450 health professionals and relevant community members from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, including from regional, rural and remote communities.

Further develop the evidence base in the growing field of transgender health through research dissemination, education, and professional development.

Highlight Australian excellence in healthcare by strengthening international organisational relationships, particularly by collaborating with the Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa (PATHA) in organising the conference.

Re-invigorate interstate relationships and collaborations in the trans health field in the Covid-19 context, by featuring speakers from across the continent and providing much needed networking opportunities for health professionals.

Actively centre and encourage the professional development of health professionals with trans lived experience – binary and non-binary.
